Enregistré en 1959, A Touch Of Tabasco est unth melange assez fin. Considérant qu'Eartha Kitt était dans un mauvais jour , Rosemary Clooney lui fait le travail, du moins dans la mesure où n'importe quelle "grive" pourrait être prévue pour enregistré avec Prado. Considérant Kitt et Clooney, ce n'est aucune surprise, vraiment. Et avec des reprises de centrale électrique telles que le "Sway (Quien Sera)," "Bali H'ai," and "You Do Something to Me," vous pourriez sans peine ne pas etre enchantez . Le reste est agréable, et les lignes conduit par Jose Ferrer ajoutent une touche gentillette, comme le tabasco.

Recorded in 1959, A Touch Of Tabasco is a fine pairing. Whereas Eartha Kitt was caught on a bad day , Rosemary Clooney makes it work, at least to the extent that any "thrush" could be expected to mesh with Prado. Considering Kitt and Clooney, it is no surprise, really. And with such powerhouse covers as "Sway (Quien Sera)," "Bali H'ai," and "You Do Something to Me," she hardly could have failed to delight. The rest is nearly as enjoyable, and liners by Jose Ferrer add a nice finishing touch, like tabasco.

Un album concept où le "concept" semble être une interprétation beatnik de Rome Ainsi beaucoup bongos ! Pas un mauvais disque mais bon tout n'est pas egal les solos de Howard Roberts. sur Flippin' the Pizza (soutenue par Jack Costanzo aux bongos) et sur Cherry Ferrari sont tres jazzzy. mais mon preferé reste Romesville ou il decrit carrement les titres de son concept et cela swing et suivi de Rebecca et Caesar's Pad. ... Pour la petite histoire c'est le 1er Lp que j'ai acheté a un DJ du Popcorn qui si mes souvenir sont bons residait du coté de Mons ou sa region cela est si loin s'il ilse reconnait qu'il me fasse signe....
A concept album where the "concept" seems to be a beatnik interpretation of Rome. So lots of bongos! Still not a bad record and H.R. solos on Flippin' the Pizza (backed by Jack Costanzo on bongos) and on Cherry Ferrari.

Plusieurs Warner Brothers TV stars,qui tient le premier rôle ont fait des disques!... y compris Connie Stevens et le résultat, comme cette ballade d'Edd Byrnes sont tout à fait exceptionnel et fortement recommandé ! Vous ne devez pas être un fan de la serie 77 Sunset Strip pour apprécier , et Byrnes met dans une bonne exécution du chant en matière de son caractère de la série "Kookie". Inclus dans cet album le classique "Kookie Kookie Lend Me Your Comb", et si vous avez vu la série vous comprendrez ce que signifie le titre de la chanson !sinon chopé la et Enregistrement fortement recommandé.
Many of the Warner Brothers TV stars did this, including Connie Stevens and the result, like this Edd Byrnes outing are quite outstanding and highly recommended!
You don't have to be a fan of 77 Sunset Strip to appreciate that this is a fun recording, and Byrnes puts in a good performance of singing in the matter of his character from the series "Kookie".
Included in this recording is the classic top 10 hit "Kookie Kookie Lend Me Your Comb", and if you have ever caught the series you will understand what the song's title means! Highly recommended recording.

Grand, maladroit album d'humour de Beatnik et sottise diverse de Rod ("Dor") McKuen. C'est Spooksville, Man ! ! Non, vraiment cependant, très amusant avec la version originale "The Beat Generation" (plus tard appropriée par Richard Hell et retouchée dans "The Blank Generation"") et une satire sur le "Quiet Village" de Martin Denny, entre d'autres. c'est frais et leur bonne humeur jaillissent a l'ecoute.

No, really though,very fun stuff with the original version of "The Beat Generation" (later appropriated by Richard Hell and reworked into "The Blank Generation") and a satire on Martin Denny's "Quiet Village", among others.
